For Sale- Snap On KR1001 Roll Cab (New Years Eve Only Price)
I have an almost reconditioned Snap On Masters Series KR1001 Roll Cab for sale. Its date coded 1992. I bought the box with no dents or scratches, but the paint was very faded. I removed all the draws and slides (ball bearing) and started the restoration. Well time was not on my side and I shelved the draws and only painted the case itself. I used a 2-stage professional automotive paint sprayed on with an HVLP gun. I have no time to refinish the project and its taking up more room then I have to spare at my shop. My Snap On dealer offered me $3500.00 trade in value towards the purchase of a new box for the KR1001, but I dont really feel like financing another $7000.00 for a new box. I recently put the box back together as is, but it will be sold with all the draw liners which are in almost perfect condition, both keys and the rest of the paint, hardner etc. to finish the restoration. Casters are in great shape (original heavy duty), and all the draw stops have been replaced with the new stiff type. Draws will not roll open accidently, and the locks work perfect. This box is heavy (900 lbs.) and there is a fork lift on site to load it onto a truck. Asking $1000.00 firm for this box today only!!!!!!!!.
