Great patina, I agree, but the price is insane. $400

The ad states "Vintage Craftsman top & bottom boxes with tools. Too much to list."

The box was cleaned out and the tools are almost exclusively cheap Chinese-made sets that have been neatly organized but are completely worthless.

I hate ads like this. My guess is that someone found this stack at an estate sale and packed them full of all their junk hoping to find some sucker thinking they found a box full of vintage tools.

That is some nice patina. If I bought it I'd restore it though. That's just what I like to do.

The modern stickers ruined the box for me. now if those stickers were of the same age as the box then I might see it. otherwise its a cool old box with ****** modern stickers.

I hadn't even considered that! Looking at them, I'd say they were all added recently.
