Odd thought but after seeing @richfinn van I realized I never see European mobile heavy mechanics with service trucks like the US, Canada, or Australia. They all seem to work out of vans, even heavy equipment guys. What do they use to pull off hydraulic cylinders or other heavy components? I tried looking up "mobile lkw werkstatt" and other equivalents but just photo op's no actual work pictures.

You'll likely see Iveco trucks/vans. They're common as a van cab with all sorts of variations for the back. Service bodies, bed trays, dump beds.
