It's been talked about a few times over the years, but both Case/International Harvester and New Holland sell some rebranded tools from Snap On's industrial lines. Most of the tools are Taiwan Williams, but there are a couple of gems that can be found at decent prices.

For Example, the SC80005/SN80005 is a USA Williams ratcheting screwdriver and can be had for about $27. I can't stand the Williams blue handle, so I picked one of these up for myself.

Also, the SC90005/SN90005 is a 5pc Grip On locking plier set that runs about $84.

So while this isn't new news, it was new to me so I thought I would share. Hell, I'm not even a farm boy, but I have fond memories of running a Case hoe when I was a kid and my truck is powered by International! :pimp:

Snap On sells the same screwdriver (more or less) for $63 and a 4pc locking pliers set for $89.

Cool, man! I'm always on the lookout for new sources of neat tools that are a little out of the mainstream. If it's branded farm or heavy equipment names, all the better.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool. I have heard about the Caterpillar rebranded Snap On, but never the farm brands. I know a lot of people who come from farming families are really brand loyal, so they might get a kick out of owning some of this stuff.

I work for a New Holland dealer and that was one of the first things that I was looking at when i got hired LOL. CNH has all kinds of BA tools that are rebranded I got a really nice set of 3/4" drive sockets and ratchets I think for SAE and Metric it came out to be 450 or something i dont quite remember. Next time your at your dealer ask to see the tool catolouge they have all sorts of cool stuff tool boxes, field service kits, swivel sockets, and a master set you can get into for about 2000 I think with out a box.

Be nice if the website gave you a hint on manufacturer and COO, though

IH and NH have SO kra boxes rebadged like cat does. I was at a dealer this fall and they had a blow out deal on a kra 4107/4114 limit edition 25th anniversary magnum row crops combo for something like a grand. If I wasn't a Deere man, I would have thought it to be a nice combo:bounce:

Wow that's nice. Does it have case IH branded in it?

Yes, "CASE IH" is painted on the ratchet screwdriver handle, but it is just a thin surface coat which wears off completely within a short period of time. I have 2 of them and they are both missing the label and my second one only gets used about once a week. Losing the label didn't matter to me though, because like others here I bought it so I wouldn't have to pay the Snap-On price or have the ugly Williams blue color.
