Depends if OEM or tuner aftermarket fasteners.

My guess is 17mm, 19mm or 21m socket will do the job. IIRC they are M12 or M14 fasteners.

24mm is not the same as 15/16. Its close (23.8mm), but not the same.

17mm, except for X6s and X5s after the 1st gen facelift which are 19mm.

Can't remember specific cars but you will likely need it if you work on more than one line of cars.

Balancer bolt for newer gm v8's. 4.8, 5.3, ls1, 6.0, etc. (Among other things I'm sure).

Duh, that was exactly my point. I usually see the 24mm out for all the wrong reasons, such as said 15/16 fasteners, sometimes even with SAE grade marks clearly visible. No need for corrections, we are on the same page.

Some jeep suspension bolts use 24mm fasteners.
