Forane 22

I found a green cylinder of Forane 22 in a box in a closet at the church. The container is about 12 years old. How can I recycle or dispose of it?

Probably is spares someone left there for your air conditioner at the Church, Id leave it be. If you don't run r22 equipment there anymore Im sure you could find someone on Craigslist willing to buy it from you, that is expensive stuff these days.

We had a church member do our maintenance years ago and it was used by him for maintenance ...... but he is long gone (retired in the western part of VA) so I'll try the Craigslist route..... How to I figure out how much do I have? Put it on a bathroom scale?

Don't give it away its turning into gold $$$$$$ The EPA is forcing it off the market. I think I paid 280. for a 30# tank this summer.

put it on a scale. put it on craigslist, orfind a contractor near you. I am a contractor new jugs are around 300$ full bottle weighs about 37#
