Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I really enjoy seeing the pictures of garages and shops posted on this site. I've been working on my garage for 6 months. I hope to have it together enough soon to start working on my dads 1929 Model A Business Coupe. I also have a 1929 Phaeton and 1929 Model AA truck in my garage. The garage is 30 ft by 40ft. I'm trying to give the garage a 1930's feel. I'm located near Bakersfield, California. I'm looking for other model a ford gearheads who enjoy working on their old cars.

I will posting pictures soon.

Check out my garage at tresburrosgarage.com

Welcome aboard! Keep us posted with updates on your garage and Model A projects. Your 1930's theme should include some Ford signage.

Can't wait to see the 1929 Business Coupe. Dad and I have been into A's since 1985. We have had a 1928 Business Coupe but have always wanted a 1929 because of the oval window. Currently we have a 1930 Deluxe Roadster we have had off and on (sold and bought back 2 times now) since 1985 and are restoring a 1930 Standard Roadster.

hey 1/2 Cup maybe I can relate with you further. The phaeton in my shop is right hand drive. Do you have right hand drive Model A?

I am restoring a std 1930 roadster - Canadian built/assembled in Aust. right hand drive. There have been heaps of left hand drive Model As imported to Australia over the last few years from the states. I had a test drive of an imported 30 coupe, left hand drive , that i was looking at purchasing, what an experience it was:thumbup: Cheers

The pic is our Deluxe, our Standard will either be copra and chicle, straw stripe with black wheels or all black, black wheels, red stripe. Our Standard is a March 30 car and is being built to MARC touring standards.
