The spring inside the handle of the nibble-nose cutters is a fun design. I have some flat bladed needle nosed pliers that are similarly made, using stamped sheet steel. They also have that style bypass cutter on either side of the jaws.
I modified the pair in the background, to bend loops on the ends of springs. (for distributors)
I recently found another pair of those pliers in the next size up and the wire cutting notches are a bit buggered up; probably from cutting hard wire.
