I've had a few instances where a forked pry bar would be useful when installing a bolt and prying at the same time. These are not quite what I had in mind but may work. Interesting to say the least.

I don't think I've seen this website before, are they exclusive with Cornwell in the US?

That's a ".tw" website, likely the actual manufacturer of the product. It's a taiwanese company, never heard of them until this evening looking for the OEM of the cornwell tool.

For the time being, I'd say the only place you're finding these is through cornwell, or another tool truck. Even more well known brands like SP tools will have exclusivity agreements, meaning tool XYZ is truck only for however long.

My favorite use for the flyers and supplemental catalogs, is using them to find a tool I want, then chasing down the OEM to save some cash.

I have the big one which straddles a 2x4 and is great for tearing pallets apart. I also have one of the pickle forks in my truck box. It come in handy for separating pto couplers and bearings on equipment. The fork lets you pry at two places. They are definitely a tool that will get used.

I agree on finding the manufacturer, when it comes down to cornwell though a lot of times it seems they are exclusive.

Thanks for the input, I am considering trying to buy one or the set... If a dealer ever contacts me back.

I'm still trying to figure out what sort of mayhem the "Grim Reaper Tactical Sickle" on the first page of the catalog is intended for. Weird.

Anyhoo, those forked pry bars look like a very damn good idea. One of those obviously useful things once you see it, but not something I've really even thought to look for before. Hopefully there will be a version available to us unwashed masses soon.

Well, dreams really do come true sometimes and a dealer contacted me back through Facebook. While I was picking up the pry bars and some wrenches that I had ordered from the flyer he even offered a second set at the promotional price from Feb - so early father's day present! They are pretty solid, and huge - it's going to take some effort to clear space in my toolbox for them.1ce89b189a00cd3fd617b84958f9b04b.jpg1e6403b5b013285cdfc184c59c157c93.jpg

I have an indexable pry bar made by gearwrench I think. It’s not forked, but there may be a forked version. I’ll take a picture and post it.

I’ve never seen anything like that before. Never heard of them till I seen this thread. Too bad we don’t have a Cornwell guy anymore because Cornwell has some cool stuff.

What'd that set of three end up costing you? They look like they would be handy.

I have a set of normal indexable pry bars as well, but it seems every time I need one I end up using two to straddle the item and end up busting my knuckles. Hopefully these will do the trick.

I paid about the same as the guy above, $135 after tax. Took forever for the driver to get them, but worth the wait. They are nice, havent really put any to the true test yet in abuse.
