Holy cow, I suddenly feel the need for a Bridgeport mill. No tooling though. That could add up.

That deal is like what crack dealers offer. Get in for $300 with a smile but that $300 will be the cheapest part of getting that mill running. You may even pay more than that just to move it.


That aint a Bridgeport, it's a mill made by WELLS INDEX, I think it a model #55 and looks like it needs a lot of love and some parts. Some say Index makes a better mill than Bridgeport but unless you have tooling that fits it, it will be an expensive endeavor. I think it has a #9 Brown & Sharpe spindle taper.

Yes and No. The thing is huge, That cabinet is much bigger than the typical Lista/Vimar/Lyon 8-12 drawer cabinet. It has 16 drawers and must be taller than the typical 5'.

Whoever needs that cabinet must have an awesome shop, the drawers do not look deep, maybe some of them are 3". A cabinet like that is for a huge amount of tooling, fasteners or other small part items needing solid drawers. Filling it up and getting it organized is not a small job.

Is it a deal?
Again, Yes and no. You can certainly find cheaper cabinets like this but you'll be very hard pressed to find another 16 drawer cabinet like that so if you need one $800 isn't terrible because if you have that much tooling, the cabinet cost is minor compared to what you're putting in it.

Comes out to $50 a drawer which isn't bad.

In my experience:

Damaged/Dented:
$50 per drawer is a deal.
$75 per drawer is high.

Great condition, good paint:
$75 per drawer is a deal.
$100 is high but common.

So, I think this looks like a great deal. If you ever want to trade many shallow drawers for a few taller ones, I (and many others) will oblige you any day of the week. (I can't match that color but paint is cheap)

Snap-On Triple Bank Rolling Tool Box w/ Hutch & Overhead Storage - $2800 (Hillsboro)

Selling a Snap On tool box / cabinet.

Bottom section:
- Measures about 72.75" x 23.5" x 41" tall
- Model: KRL773
- Triple bank - 20 drawers
- 2 of the drawers have no liners and have some scratches. Other drawers are lined and clean
- Drawers are kept closed by plastic tabs on the underside of the drawer handles - shift them left to open. 3 of the plastic tabs have broken.
- One of the drawers only opens half way. Haven't diagnosed why or tried to fix.
- Side handle came off - have the piece.

Top section:
- Measures about 72" x 14.5" x 39.5" tall
- Cabinet models: KRWL3625A
- Door to the hutch is very stiff to close/open - no lock.
- No lock to one of the cabinets

Total height is 80.5"
