Hard to beat a $20 Kennedy! Handle missing at top but a trip to hardwareelf.com should do anyone right. Reid Supply and a half dozen other places should have workable replacements too.

But I've got to say yay. Atlas drill press, I think it's a 1010, looks like this:

Haven't had a chance to plug it in, it appears complete & serviceable but used, surface rust etc. According to my back it weighs about a million pounds.

Yes, good find. That is a great deal and absolutely heavier than 10lbs, actually a Prentiss vise model 51 weighs about 28 lbs and has a 3.5" jaws x 5.5" opening.

It's a good little/avg. size vise.

Somebody on GJ needs to jump on it. It looks good and lightly used from the rough looking photo's. The font on the logo looks fresh. Just needs to get the rust removed and your good to go unless theres a crack or the threads on the spindle are bad.
