And that is what I like to hear. It's always good to hear when a GJ member is able acquire a good deal on craigslist.

It does look a newer one and in excellent condition, I hope it's still a #397 or #257 model. I have the older ones and they're true work horses, just as good as my Baldor.

here's an meh-ok deal if you need 1"+ drive stuff like yesterday.

I talked to the outfit in the morning, told him I was just a hobbyist but would like to build a 1" drive set, thinking maybe a hundred bucks or little more. He says come on down I'll work you a deal. I ask how much he's trying to get per socket, he tells me, 'eh...they're different prices, but I'll get you taken care of."

So I drive 30 minutes outta my way, get there and he hands me a sheet with the Wright and Proto and Snap On prices. 55% Wright and Proto MSRP, and 38% off Snap On....WTF!!!!!!!!

Vintage Delta Table saw Jointer combo - $125 (Elkton, MD)















The serial number dates this saw from 1951. It is a tilting table design with 1/2hp 110V motor. The table is clean and unwarped and the lifting/tilting mechanism is operational and completely intact.

The jointer is 6" and has its own 1/2hp 110V motor. Neither motor is original.
