24" Double Disk Sander - Awesome!!! - $500 (Page County, Virginia)

This is a truly AWESOME 24" DOUBLE DISK SANDER by J.A. FAY & EGAN
It weighs +/- #900. IT WILL MAKE YOUR TRUCK SQUAT.
The tables are Blanchard ground and sweet!
There is such great mass in the piece that the disks take about 15 minuets to come to a stop.
There is a motor break on the unit but it is not hooked up.
3 Phase, 5 hp 220/440 delta wound.
I will include several STICKY-BACK disks for it. Unknown grit at this time.
That is cosmaline on the table not rust.

Edit: I'm wondering if the "motor break" is actually a VFD.

That's a pretty incredible machine for $500.

1979 ENCO milling/ filling machine - $200 (Torrance, CA)

I'm not a fan of these type of mills with round columns but if it works well, then $200 is a great price. I bet it will be gone by this morning. They do make awesome drill press's and a lot of milling can be achieved within it's limits. You will be well versed in tramming if you use one of these mills. I say go for it.

It's a Enco 91000 mill

might not be the best mill, but for my small work area, I would give $200..00 for it. Probably have to get rid of a drill press though.
LOL
Nice looking Kennedy-esque chest for $20 in Monterey CA. Made for Montomery Ward in the 1970s per the ad, a little surface rust but works fine.

Nice little box for $20.00>
I'd get it too............LOL
Little wrinkle paint would spruce it right up.

INCA 12" Table saw w/sliding table $500, Rockwell-Delta 14" (Very Nice) Band Saw $100
Wood shop machines (westwood, CA)

Swiss made table saw with sliding table and router table attached, I think this is the 12" version, they sold without slider or router for around $3,000.

The Delta band looks to be in excellent condition, steal for $100.

Also the Delta Mortiser is a good price but I would negotiate a group price with band saw. The rest of the stuff looks average but there is a lot of nice wood in the background that could possibly negotiated.

Machines a little old but well cared for
Delta Shopmaster Hollow Chisel Mortiser - Model MM300 $150
box of 4 Hollow Chisel Bits $85
Powermatic Drill Press - Model 1140f 1989 - $200
Duracraft Bench Grinder - Model 606050 $50
Band Saw - Rockwell Model 14 $100
Joiner/ Planer - Makita 300mm Model 2030 $1000
Band sander $50
Inca Table saw - 1994 Type 341 033 21 $500

Nice vintage 1/2 HP Craftsman motor with a couple of attachments for $10 in Dublin, CA. Wouldn't recommend keeping that grinding wheel on, but a buffer would do well.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/tls/5465938567.html

That's funny, I've got the exact same motor with two wire wheels, I was actually just using it today. If it has the 1750 rpm, then it makes for a nice and safe wire wheel set up, I prefer it to my 3250 rpm set up, the wire needles that fly off into my forehead don't hurt as much with the slower rpm. $10 is a great price if it works.

I purchased another table saw and haven't used this one in a number of months, and now it's just taking up space. Pick up is in Stevenson Ranch. Can help load if picked up during the weekend. Craftsman air compressor twin cylinder 120 volt for $125 obo (Sylmar, CA)

I would offer $80-$100

Not a bad little compressor with 5.8 CFM@90 PSI spec. These are pretty quiet being belt driven and it's a two cylinder. You don't see them often at 120v with these specs.

Im selling 12 gallon Craftsman air compressor twin cylinder 120 volt for $125 obo call

^ ^ ^ For $60 on a stand, that Record vise is a smokin' deal. Someone grab it !!

That's what I said!
If that was near one of us, it would be gone! The vise alone is worth more than $60.

macgee: How much would 6 feet of that go for in L.A.?
Another smokin' deal on C/L
Seriously, talk about a fantastic workbench top! 3 inches thick edge grain laminated maple?

I totally agree on the vise, even comes with a stand.

In LA, I seen these sell from $800-$2000+ and they were smaller sections (crazy prices). I've seen them made into dining tables, conference tables and for flooring in high profile rooms. It wold be great for a hallway, although 3" thick would make that tough.

That doesn't look like maple but more like a vertical grain Douglas Fir but that would be way too soft so not sure.

Athol 614 1/2 machinists vise - $50 (Hemet, CA)

These are excellent vise's. $50 is a good deal, that's like 0.75 ¢/lb.

It's actually a 4 1/2" jaw.

Nice old Athol 614. This is a machinists vice. That means the jaws are smoorh without teeth.

This is a old heavy vice. It was made in the 50's or before. The vise works perfectly. The handle to loosen and tighten is not bent.

Theses are highly desired and sell for way more than I'm asking.
