Logan lathe mdl 211, 10” x 31” with lots of tooling - $400 (sunnyvale, CA)

With good chucks and gears

"Logan lathe model 211 10” swing 31” between centers , needs a good cleaning and oiling. Very nice condition , 3 and 4 jaw chucks, tool posts and centers, milling vice, table included. The previous owner installed a variable speed motor on the lead screw for a power feed and it works nice. I used to use this lathe quite a bit but bought a bigger lathe and haven’t used this one in 20 years. I did a quick clean up and oiling and fired it up. It runs nice and sounds good."

Tormek T-7 wet sharpener $40.00.
Needs refurbishing but the motor is strong, frame a little tippy (probably dropped this monster), wheel need truing a few bitty chips but remarkably sound.
Accessories are mighty expensive but worth the time and cost to get it going right at least to me. I ordered a tru-tool, rotating base, grading stone, angle master and a new style water trough. They had a Preston water jug cut top for it which actually worked pretty good.

Where? That item will be hard to find if you don't post where it is.

I suspect you may be in the wrong thread - this thread is people posting deals they find on Craigslist so others can buy the item. From the first post: "I figured we could all post the deals that we find but dont need in one condensed thread to try to help out other members."

I think there is another thread where people post things they bought off of Craigslist but I cannot seem to find it at the moment, but it seems like that is the thread you want.

Just posted and labeled Maggi but these were made by Girggio Italy and usually sell used in the thousands $2k-$3K. Would not be surprised if you can get the price much further down as they want it gone. It's 220v. I see the fence but miter gauge looks like might be missing? Plug it in first at location to hear bearings and see if everything works/complete (probably need a 220v 30a extension cord to test). Smoking deal for a serious wood shop. If all good, Bobs your uncle.

Looks like the ones used on film production sites by grips and special effects teams, they're typically made of oak but hard to tell about quality in pic. Normally sell used for too much money on CL.

Nice finds, that large jack shaft pulley wheel on the bandsaw alone is worth $40. Also a Pretty interesting way of containing an exterior capacitor by using a recycled tin can for it. Definitely a self sufficient type of guy

Hopefully that lathe is usable to someone and has a huge chuck on it.
