Found a Record vise. How do I take it apart?

Someone gave me a Record 3VS vise, made in Sheffield, England. It's mostly complete, and a little rusty. I want to clean it up, but I can't get the jaw to come all the way out. It unscrews until the back side of the floating jaw is flush with the frame, then it stops hard.

I can't see anything keeping the jaw from coming the rest of the way out. What am I missing? Is there a set screw somewhere?

Four attachments are attached, so I hope you can see what I have. It's sitting on top of a lube oil drum.

Remove the roll pin behind the washer near the handle, and it the leadscrew should slide right out.

The pin looks a touch bent in the photo, you may have to straighten it a bit first. I think you may have to pull it, as I'm not sure there is room to knock it out with a pin punch.

I agree with the above, remove the lead screw then the slide looks to pull out and then lift up and over the nut.

That was the ticket, thanks. The little pin in the lead screw broke, so that's a second part that isn't original. The first part is the locking bolt and nut for the swivel base.

There is also a pin which locks the nut into the frame. I couldn't see it until I took my glasses off and looked up close. It pays to be near sighted, I guess. I was able to drive that one out. I think it's supposed to bend as it's driven in, to lock the nut tightly in its dovetail?

So, it's all apart, and it just needs a little rust removed, and a little paint.

This thing was sitting outside on a stand for years. Fortunately, it was well greased, so there was no real damage. I think the fellow who gave it to me sprayed it with some kind of blue paint, but it's definitely blue from the factory. I'll probably try to find some Rustoleum that kind of matches the original.

The jaws are soaking in vinegar, and I'll get a 1/8" roll pin to hold the spring on the lead screw. I may look for a stronger spring - that one seems a little bit buggered up, and wasn't keeping the jaw pressed against the screw.

Three questions left:

1) Is there supposed to be a thrust washer on the outside, between the lead screw and the moving jaw?
2) Were the original screws that held the jaws Phillips head?
3) Anyone want to recommend a spray bomb color that's kind of close to the original Record blue?
