hi all!
I scored this set at a local thrift shop in the area and just couldn't pass them up. yah, I have a problem when it comes to US made vintage tools :)
Anyone have any info on them? The set appears to be complete, and in great shape, 1/2 drive, with the "unusual socket sizes", and with metal box and all :)

any comments are welcome please with information on them.
anyone have a rough idea at what this set is worth? I haven't seen many Walden toolsets around, and I'm only 50 miles south of Worcester, Mass :)
I blocked out what I paid for the set, as it wasn't really much :)

thanks!
Mike B

Not many collectors for the brand I have some I bought along time ago when they were still in business. What they are worth is using them and getting the use out of a fallen flag tool company that made basic durable tools in MA. What you paid is about what you can get for them. A few years ago I bought a gift for a boy that helps me he lived his early years in Rhode Island so I bought a NOS impact socket set for him because they were made close to his home. I paid 36.00 if I remember and they have preformed flawlessly. I am fairly sure they were OE for Craftsman impact sockets along time ago because they both have a oval logo around the IMPACT wording and look identical to my old sockets. They also are staying in shape the same as my old sockets Craftsman have.
Keep em and use em and you have a super neat old box to keep them in.

LOL :) yah, maybe :)

I paid slightly more than a Jefferson US bank note for the set :)

any thoughts as to what it's worth?

Hard to say on value as said there is not a lot of collectors for that brand. I would guess $30 range as it doesn't have the ratchet.

Looking for the following Plomb Pebbles Wrench 3061

Sweet score. If that's from savers, my friend worked at one and watched a comic book worth hundreds sell for peanuts. He nearly cried being the comic fanatic he is, but as a worker had to put it on the shelf and couldn't purchase it yet.

Looking for the following Plomb Pebbles Wrench 3061

it came with a Fleet ratchet, and an extra Bonney 3/4 socket.

any idea what ratchet would complete this set? I can't find any info as to exactly what set this is :-(
