I found this huge thingamajig in a pile of Snap on stuff that I bought at the Pawn Shop today. I know it is a stud remover, but I have no idea of what kind of stud. It is 3/4" drive. Anybody ever used one before. Thanks.

I have used one like that a few times. Slide it over the stud/pin. drive the wedge in from the side to lock it in place and you are good to go. Right or wrong that has worked for me plenty of times.

Ha Ha. Thanks for the quick response guys. I have no use for it, but it's kind of cool anyway. Whoever owned it previously must have worked in a heavy equipment or industrial type job as there were also several sets of 12 point impact sockets and they were all 3/4" drive. Again, no use for them but as we all know it is very difficult to pass up a good deal on tools, especially Snap on!

Used them on seized turbo studs on the exhaust manifold and turbo on diesel trucks.Worked great might work well on wheel studs.
