I found this old chisel in the Restore still sealed in a plastic coating. I couldn't read a brand but for $1 it was worth the gamble.
I peeled the plastic away and revealed it's a Greenlee, then I grabbed an old piece of broomstick and fitted a handle (with a spokeshave since my lathe is 100 miles away).
Anybody familiar with old Greenlee labels want to give a guess on age? I'm guessing fifties or sixties.

I’ve never seen one where the factory surfacing went up the socket to the logo.

Guessing that’s a factory defect/ 2nd
