I've been looking at different options for onboard air to be used with my pickup. The options that were reasonable where cheap junk from overseas or required me to adapt compressors meant for AC.

So I picked this up on kijiji for $45,a Saylor Beall, the guy said it was used on a furnace,3/4 hp. I can't pass anything up that's rebuildable & it's the perfect size.I checked Saylor's website & got zip, anyone have any info on it like how old it may be,the rpm limit or if it's rebuildable I didn't test it beyond spinning the flywheel around, it passed.

Why not run an old York auto A/C? that's what I run on my Jeep, works GREAT. Hardest part is finding the yorks now and making a bracket.

How old is your Tacoma? How are you going to adapt it from a V belt to run on a flat serpentine belt? Also the stock Sanden rotary style compressors work good for OBA as well as the Yorks.

I'm going to mount an AC clutch pulley on the shaft of the pump.
Edit to add, my Tacoma is a 95.5. The AC compressors do work well but I wanted to use a pump that had oil control rings on the pistons, I heard the yorks & sandens don't.
