I have a new shop building going up 46' X 70'. CMU block wall foundation that will be 42" tall, 12" CMU's on top of a 10" thick footer. I want to put a 2" thick EPS foam board on the inside of the CMU's before back filling. R tech foam made by Henry is very reasonable compared to Dupont, but R tech only has a compressive strength of 10 verses 25 with Dupont. With this getting back filled inside with #1 washed stone and vibratory rolled in 6" lifts along the wall. Will the R tech low compressive strength allow the washed stone to compact the R tech foam or will it maintain its thickness. Thanks for any feedback.
