Foundation foam to fiber cement transition question

I'm ready to start building on my foundation, which has 2" foam on the outside of the block (radiant slab). Fiber cement siding "Hardie Plank" says to leave a 1" gap above areas where water may be present, and the foam will have a z-flashing on top exposed about 1 1/2". I was wondering what you guys with this arrangement have done for a transition between the siding and foam flashing. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Rick, very informative link. I ended up finding some solid vinyl trim that should work well. The first row of siding should fit over it nicely.

Rick, The vinyl transition is attached (nailed) to the sill plate (through the sheathing). I have a floating slab with 1 course of block on top. The foam runs to the top of the block, with a z flashing on top of it. On top of the z flashing I installed the vinyl trim, which is beveled, so the first row of siding overlaps it, ended up with 1 1/4" between z flashing and siding.
