The garage edition has been completed and I am looking for a four post lift. My ceiling is now 11' 2" at the top of the middle peak of the ceiling. Will this allow me to stack the cars ('61 & '65 Vettes) and also give me enough working height since I am about 6' 3". The lift has a height of 70". Below is a link to the lift I am looking at. Let me know you thoughts.

Thanks, Larry

If you are looking at price only, then why don't you consider the 7000 pound unit. Personally, I would want a unit that has a certification and that I know the manufacturer will be around in the future, such as Bendpak. One of the ways that you can compare lifts, is the raw weight of the unit. The heavier it is, the more steel in it. Also consider the service after the sale, and the track record of the seller to address problems and installation issues. There has to be some major differences where there are large differences in selling prices. None of the lift manufacturers are getting rich on the sale of a unit. Most are making their profits based on sales volume, and I don't see anyone out there that is selling more lifts than Bendpak. They are the leader in innovation, design, customer service, and will be around for the long haul.
