Foxwell NT510 scan tool

I know there are a few here that own the tool. I have had mine for a few years, and have been fairly impressed with it. I use it for Toyota and GM typically. I was able to access all modules previously in my 2003 4runner, but after the last update, it seems to be all screwed up. It won't auto-detect the VIN, and when manually selecting...it doesn't even give me the option to choose the year. It would appear that it is defaulting to an earlier year (late '90s?) that doesn't have all the body controls that the 2003 does. Has anyone noticed fewer functions after updating? I made a service ticket with Foxwell but have not had a reply yet.

I have been trying to get mine fixed or warranted for months. Mine is a 520 and it is still under warranty. I send a email and it may be weeks before a reply comes back. Reply usually says to try updating again; this goes on over and over. They even wanted some pictures of the screen locked up. Locked up screen looks like a working screen. Their email reply will also come at 3 or 4am so you can't start a chat. Next reply will be weeks away.

They won't take it back and replace it either. I wish I had bought it on Amazon.
