FPU Bison Bial Vise

Hi Everyone,

I have been considering this vise (on Craigslist):

It's a bit rusty, but I suspect it will clean up well. His original price was $200, I offered $75. He countered with $100 (and updated the ad).

What do you think, is it worth it?

I have a Bison Bial, and I love it. It is like the "Lazy Boy" of vices. I can park next to it still be able to use it for simple tasks. He has it up for $100 now. $2 a pound seems fair for that, but I got mine for free. If you do pick it up, do not hammer on the anvil too hard, as it will ****** up your races. If I did not have mine, I would pick it up for $75 and probably leave it behind for $100. I bet someone grabs it up soon.

I sold this exact same model of vise on eBay and it fetched $70. It was in FAR better condition (no rust), and I cleaned, lubricated and checked everything over prior to the sale. Shipping was $35 and it was light enough to go into a foam-lined cardboard box.

Odd... while walking out of the office to get some lunch today, I was starting to regret selling that vise... a new home in my workshop just opened up for it...
