Wth is that? Gotta be a grab anything you can imagine deal plus leave your mark at the same time.

Just getting in line to check this out later, I’m interested.

Hand Tool Rescue is one of my favorite channels. :) I was impressed that he was able to weld up all the errant drill holes in that thing. His skills keep getting better.

Another tool to keep an eye out for in my travels. And another talent worth watching on YT. Thanks for posting.

Yep, I saw this video a few days ago and was impressed because I had never seen or imagined a vise like that before. That is insanely cool.

You have to wonder why anyone let the shop apprentice get anywhere near it and poke holes in the base.

Making the replacement for the missing piece was pretty impressive work, too.

Each of your (our) social media platforms track your Internet usage from multiple platforms and uses it to feed you items that you will probably like, and also items to influence your thinking. Or at least that's what "The Social Dilemma" (Netflix) tells us. Scary huh?

/sorry for brief thread jack.

Here are photos of a Mantle & Company (New York) vise with the swivel base. They are pretty rare. Folks quote the jaw width at 4.75".

Here is the US patent by PAULIN KARL KUNZ'E, OF VIENNA, AUSTRIA-HUNG-AIRY. Patents were filed in the US, Switzerland, Austria and Great Britain starting in 1911.

Would normally never watch that long of a video but home with a sick kid and had time to spare. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting.
