Framing Nails for treated lumber

Hi Guys

Starting framing exterior walls on my garage on friday.

Only bostitch hot dipped galvanized framing nails I can find (for stud to bottom plate) is these:

No, that is insufficient.

It will say right on the box if the nail is recommended for treated lumber.

I was looking for them too. All I was able to find was 3.5" paper collated, and I have the same 28 degree wire weld nailer as you. As it turns out, the 28 degree WW nailers only fire 3-1/4" nails. I'll probably eventually buy a paper collated nailer.

You could borrow/rent one cheap for the framing. Or just use 3-1/4 nails.

Seems to have good reviews (unlike the Bosch brad nailer I almost bought) and the price looks good, it's at HD for $144 for a recon unit.

Confirm only the bottom plate is treated?

If so....do it the old fashioned way....hammer with the right nail.

My 28WW says 2-3.5-inch and .113 to .131.
