I have Franklin Autoswing doors (see youtube of them below), which recently started banging into each other in the middle. After trying in vein to find a local garage/gate company to fix them, I reluctantly dug into them myself and am happy to say I got them fixed. There is VERY little on the internet about these openers, and literally none of the local companies would touch them, so I figured I'd share what I did in case it helps one or two poor souls somewhere down the road. The bottom line is that these openers have adjustable limit switch cams that have to be adjusted to trigger the limit switches when the door is fully open and fully closed. Unfortunately, these cams rotate on the motor shaft and can come loose, like mine did, causing the doors to go haywire. Picture below shows the upper cam sliding over the lower cam. Once installed, you need to open the door to where you want it to stop, and rotate the cam to trigger the limit switch in that location -- then clamp it down tight!
