Looking to build a 30x40 pole barn with 12' walls and 10' lean to or side shed as they are called.

I have a trusted guy to clear grade and add septic.

Any comments on Morton or Timberline? Others to consider? The property is 5 hours from my home. Looking for a quality company that I trust to work when I am not there.

Thanks!

Can't help with a Corporate builder recommendation as I used a local Amish builder for mine. I was living onsite and they did a great job. The one recommendation I will make though would be to increase the lean to to at least 12' wide. It shouldn't add much to the cost and is much more user friendly. Remember a car trailer is around 8" wide, while it will fit it doesn't leave much walk around or storage room. I went 12 on mine and almost wish I had got a little bigger. Just a thought

Good point on the lean to. I was just thinking about friends parking motorcycles and drinking some beers if it was raining.

I have to agree with Snip. The cost is minimal to add the extra and you're using 4 full sheets of metal "when" you decide to enclose it. I had to look up Franklin to see where that was from me. Exactly east on the other side of the state.

Sounds like you are building my kind of garage/shop. Another word of wisdom, The friends can park under it on sunny days and drink beer also, the plus side is the OL's don't burn their butts/backs on a hot seat when they leave. Makes a better afternoon for everybody,LOL. Not sure where but I parts of WV couldn't be that far from me
