

So.... does the end of the socket on which the name and size are stamped affect the socket's ability to hold onto a nut or bolt?

It's Snap-On, of course it works. Though I'm kind of surprised that the dealer would sell it.

Seriously??? That is a VERY common size. I use it most for oil changes on any of our 3 cars, Volvo, BMW, Subaru.

well there's your problem.... I haven't had the opportunity to work on any of them! No prejudice, just never had one.fits probably 90% of Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans, etc.
The socket is inverted. The 12 points you see should be at the other end.

Weird, very very common on Japanese cars. 10,12,14,17,19 fits probably 90% of Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans, etc.
