I tested those wheels up at 3M in Minnesota about two years back. They cut like a mother.

They were most likely out of the office when you returned their call. You just have to answer some questions and they'll send it to you. They're really not looking for individuals or the home mechanic, but instead accounts or businesses to sell large qtys to.

I signed up for one and had a somewhat rude lady tell me I would not get a sample unless I was a big buyer and went through their sales pitch. She sounded pissed that I was just a casual user. She made it crystal clear to me that they only wanted to speak with pros. You might want to keep this in mind when you speak with them

I had the same lady call me. I'm sure as hell not a big buyer, but a little sweet talking goes a long way. They are looking for people to buy large quantities of their product, not a bunch of garage guys that might buy 4 or 5 a year. Don't get me wrong because I fit that category. Mine's in the mail.

The lady also called me. She asked a few questions. I honestly answered that I was a low volume user that maybe went throught a dozen or two a year. She asked what I had been using and what the use was for. She said it's on its way.

I also applied the first day or two this thread started, never heard a word from them. Perhaps they had dedicated a certain number of discs for the promo and no more. Oh, well, no big deal.

Update...got the call today, Friday 8th, disc on its way........

I ordered a sample wheel the day of the OP, I got a call from Susan a couple of days later. She asked me a few questions and that was it, got the wheel 2 days ago. Stout looking.

I finally got a call, but at was work teaching so couldn't pick up, I also got an email from them (Susan). Didn't mention that I couldn't get samples, but said I could inquire about them, so I did via email, we'll see what happens.
