If the warranty expired in 62 was this made in 60?

It's Schiller park, not Chicago.

If you mean the keyway on the slide is physically stamped "EXP GUAR x-**-62", it was made on x-**-57. During the period when they were stamping a guarantee expiration date (1954 to 1959), the Bullets had a 5-year guarantee, the Cadets had a 1- or 2-year guarantee.

If it's stamped "x-**-62", it was made on that day.

You're in good company in that timeframe in bluebolt's database. If you provide the exact marking, we can add yours.

Absolutely. Sorry, I couldn't find the thread earlier on my phone, so I started this one.

Also, would you or anyone else have a source on a handle for the swivel lock? eBay didn't come through. Interesting wear on this dynamic jaw; I'm assuming it was cast with the spirals.

No problem. Here is the link to the Wilton Dating thread. I will post a link of your thread over there. You may get more opinions on the marks on the slide over there, too. If you can post a pic of the actual date stamp or transcribe it verbatim, that would be good.
