The lenox must have been really hit or miss, I got both of mine, seems like alot of people didn't though

Yeah, it was two tries for sawzall blades and one try for a hole saw that netted me nothing. A lot of unhappy people on their FB page too, maybe Diablo is trying to capitalize on it.

Diablo 1, Lenox 0.

My Diablo came in Friday, it looks like superb quality. Made in Switzerland, I like that very much.

Many thanks to Diablo and the OP.

The blade is both thicker and heavier than other blades made for the same job. I am impressed with the stoutness of the blade so far, but will know when I go to cut up heavier metals. So far, I'm a convert.

Got mine too. The Lennox I got was pretty good, but this one just feels stronger. Thanks to both companies!

This blade made short work of cutting down a steel bench made of 1/16" sheet metal with a lot of complicated shapes bent into it. It was perfect for my needs and doesn't show any signs of getting dull yet.

Definitely going to be kept in my tool box.

I got my Diablo blade on Saturday. It was a pleasant surprise after the Lenox blades scam to take my info and send nothing in return.

A stupid question... Why does the end of the blade have a notch out of it?

A stupid question... Why does the end of the blade have a notch out of it?

Back of the package highlights that as a "Fast Plunge Tip", my guess is to prevent the blade tip from hitting (and then kicking back) when attempting plunge cuts (where you need to start cutting mid board/material instead of having an edge to start from). This is also the number 1 cause of bent blades, at least in my experience.

I just got mine, I felt pretty sure that I would. This blade will be good to have as evern though I have quite a lot of 6" blades and one carbide tipped 12" blade, I didn't yet have any 9" wood cutting blades for my sawzall. I'll be interested to see how well this one cuts.

I used my new blade last Saturday to cut about 10 pieces of 2x4's. It did a nice job sawing through the wood very fast. I like it and will be putting these in my saw case.
