Thanks finally pulled the trigger on that floor drill press I've been walking past for years and wanting.

Lowe's card 12 mos financing kicked in today so instead of choosing just 6 mos or 5% you can get both to stack and ordering online does it automatically which is a nice change. Used to have to call the number on the card to adjust it when it didn't 'sense' it was active.

Also - I placed a couple of orders from Home Depot (one was for a $1,000 drill press) via the internet. I did a live chat with them and told them I had a 10% off coupon from Lowes and could they apply that discount. They did - and they never asked for the coupon code number either

I have tried this on a couple of occasions and they always tell me it has to be applied "IN STORE". Stupid.

I would have asked to speak to a manager, every time I buy something from home depot (online or store) i use a 10% off lowes coupon... in fact I keep a coupon in my wallet for impulse buys (movers pack from post office has 10% off coupon in it that don't expire for a year)
