I have the same thing as above and have moved a bed full of clay with it. I added a large piece of corrugate (cardboard) on the bed of the truck and pulled the tarp out on top that before they loaded the clay. As Madison pointed out, it makes a huge difference in friction. It still strained but it DID pull it off. The advantage of that load handler is that it rolls up like a window shade so it doesn't fall off onto the ground and get buried by what you're hauling.

The same cardboard trick would work for Hooked's plywood idea as well. Or you could go full-redneck and throw some broom handles or dowels under it and it should roll off pretty easily.

Broom Handles, Pipe or Conduit; they are all good.

Do like the old timers. A 2x8 board with rope tied on each side of board. Then the middle of slack in rope through tractor hitch. Pull tractor forward have assistant hold board down and scrap off material. You will be done before you know it.
