Hi All,
We are introducing a new product, Armorpoxy Spray-Floor which is a super easy to use, low cost sealer coat. We are offering materials for TWO FREE GARAGES via lottery to get some nice pictures and real-life feedback, and just to assure that the materials work as we designed them to in practical use.
About the product:
1. Armorpoxy Spray-Floor is a Urethane Acrylic Clear one-part garden sprayer applied coating. It bonds tenaciously to bare concrete. We recommend three coats. It penetrates in and gives a nice satin sheen, and after the second or third coat looks like a coating or sealer. It's great for where you want an inexpensive floor that is easy to keep clean, won't dust, can't chip, and very, very easy to apply with literally zero prep.
Because it is fortified with urethane, its resists most common auto fluids and such, but unlike full high-concentration urethanes or polyureas like our SPGX, we don't recommend long-term exposure to oil and gas, so if you get some on it, just clean it up in a reasonable amount of time.
2. Cost runs about 50 cents/ sq foot total for three coats.
3. Spray-Floor is a milky white liquid that you put in a pump garden sprayer. As it cures it dries clear! Just spray on as a mist a nice even, non-puddling coat. It will dry enough to walk on in an hour or two, then repeat, let dry enough, then repeat again. All three coats can be applied in a single day. You can walk on it the next day, but let it cure for another day or so before driving on it. Make sure to run clean water through your sprayer when done so it doesnt gum up and ruin your sprayer.
4. You can re-apply Spray-Floor at any time to restore luster or shine with no prep other than cleaning and degreasing.
5. Low/no VOC, can be used in basements.
6. Spray-Floor is an economical solution for bare concrete. It does not have the super durability of 100% solids epoxy, but is a great economy solution for many applications.
Here is the opportunity to get yours for free! We are giving away 2 garages of four gallons per garage which should be plenty to do three coats. Coverage will average 400 sq feet/gallon. You will get less on the first coat, more on the 2nd and 3rd.
Just email us your name/address to [email protected]. In the header line please put 'FREE SPRAY FLOOR'. In the body of the email, kindly put your Garage Journal user ID. We will take all emails, put them in a hat and pull two, this way it is not unfair to those that read this in the next few days, and gives everyone a chance! Emails must be in by Friday, May 27th. We will contact the winners, and then charge a nominal $100 material fee plus $13.95/gal shipping. Once you have applied the product and sent us nice, usable before/during/after photos for our website, we will refund the $100! Your only cost would be the shipping.
Thats it! So, email us per above to [email protected]. Kindly email us too if you have technical questions. Thank you all very much.
