Just picked up an Arcoaire electric furnance from an a HAC installer who had pulled it out of a house with a bad A/C coil.
It's waaayyy too big for my 24x20 garage at 15 Kw, besides, it would consume most of my 100 amp service at running at full blast. There are two heat coil banks, so I am thinking I can take one off, and run it at 7.5 Kw. Still plenty big for the garage, but a better size for my service. Any ideal what size curcuit I'd need to run it at 7.5 Kw?
A nice benefit of the electric unit is that I can mount it in any configuration, thinking about a down draft with a series of vents distributing air across the floor.
