A friend of a friend is giving away this vintage 6" Craftsman jointer in Glendale
You will need to spend 20 minutes with some steel wool or a wire wheel to de-rust, but it's just recent surface rust.
Comes with the fence AND guard, which are often missing.
May not come with motor -- owner may keep it. Since the motor just turns a pulley, you can use pretty much any motor on earth to drive the machine, and 1/2hp or 3/4hp is plenty... If you're unsure, I can help you pick a motor on Ebay or whatever easily for less than $50.
This is going to be scrapped on Weds or Thurs, so please someone take it and save a piece of american iron. The owner does not want to be bothered, so if you take it, please do your best to make life easy for him and don't flake.
