No minimum. My wife and I each made $18 purchases and got $10 off each. Nothing exciting though, just household cleaning supplies.

The spam company has your number though so mission accomplished.

Unless you have never given your phone number to a bank, credit card company, insurance company, cable company, etc. they already had your number.

Since executives going to jail for data privacy violations almost never happens practically every company you do business with sells your information.

Only an off the grid homesteader in Alaska can avoid spam calls. But I still agree with you, there is no reason to make it any easier for them.

LOL, you guys are paranoid :) Just opt out of unsolicited contacts and any reputable company won't bother you:

https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0262-stopping-unsolicited-mail-phone-calls-and-email

I get approximately zero unsolicited phone calls, texts, or postal mail. The only spam email I get is stuff that is obviously from countries that don't play by the rules.

This only stops the honest people from calling you over and over.
I've been on that list for many, many years and continue to submit my request every few years for the heck of it to "renew" it. I still get 7 to 10 calls a day.

Who said it stops scammers and spammers? I said it stops "reputable" companies from contacting you, which was the concern expressed in this thread. Or are you saying you get 7 to 10 unwanted calls per day from reputable companies, like Lowes?

The problem isn't Lowes. My concern is who the data gets shared with. Deal is dead though so this is OT.
