The power company is replacing a line of poles. The cross braces are 4x6 western red cedar 18 feet long. Totally knot free, straight grain.
By the time they get them down they are 8 feet long, the fellow told me to get all I want, any Sunday. They will be burned.
I'll post some photos later, I resawed them into half inch and full inch.
