Thought that would get your attention... so yesterday I won a Milwaukee M18 jobsite radio (https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2890-20).

I picked it up tonight, and while is seems like a great radio.... I’m a 100% diehard DeWalt fan. Having a Milwaukee radio almost seems sacrilegious!

What should I do with it? Is it likely to find someone who has a DeWalt radio that wants to trade? Sell it and buy a different one?

Congratulations from a Milwaukee collector!

I expected a response like that!

Nevermind, i thought it would run off any Milwaukee battery, like my dewalt, wtf, only m18 batteries?

I figured it would have too... but I guess not. I think I’m just going to sell this one.

Free is awesome but as a Milwaukee fan boi, I have and have had several of their radios as far back as when they came with rockford fosgate amps in them, they work fine and all but to be honest, they all really sound kinda flat to me, the sound quality just isnt there, IMHO

If I were you I would sell it and use the proceeds to get your brand. There really is no reason to start looking for batteries and a new charger if you already have a good supply of dewault stuff. That is what I would do if I got another brand job site radio. Also I'm guessing the odds of finding someone who get a dewault radio but is looking for a milwaukee are pretty slim.

Cajunfirehawk, I'm sure the sound quality isn't the best, but let's be real it's made to run off a battery, in an environment where it needs to be portable, and no outlets are available. I'm not gonna ask it to give me theater quality sound. When I worked painting repo houses for a guy we would often find ourselves in houses before the power was switched over or that copper thieves had cut wires and we were in ahead of the electrician. The battery powered job site radio was nice compared to wearing headphones or using the phones speakers.

I hear what ya saying, I really do  BUT in this day and age of small bluetooth self powered speakers, some of these lil Jewels sound like mini bose wave radios but even the last milwaukee bluetooth speaker I tried sounded flat and I returned it, I am just saying they play fine but they just sound kind of boring/flat compared to some of today's portable speakers like my 4yr old jbl flip and you would think they would focus on improving the quality of the sound, not just making it portable utilitarian sound. And no, I know it will never sound like my home setup, just giving my $.02

Sold it last night for $130. Worked well for me as Amazon sells them for $150 plus tax.
