FREE Model 100 Craftsman Drill Press Benchtop Disassembled

Hi all. I have a Model 100 Craftsman Benchtop Drill Press (perhaps circa 1956, a 103 model #) A couple years ago I began the restoration process but life happened and it's sat disassembled in a box. I think that's a Craftsman 80 not a 100

I'd agree with jd500 that it is a Model 80 due to the straight rod handle with 2 knobs. It is a 13.5 inch capacity. The Model 100 has three spoke handles on a hub with 3 knobs. It is a 15.5 inch capacity drill press.

Actually, the Model 100 was originally listed as two different sizes. They then renamed it to the Model 80. So depending on year, it could be named correctly.

You're both correct only because the drill press (power bronze) was made after 1950.

Up until 1949, the 13-1/2" drill press WAS a Craftsman 100. When someone refers to a 13-1/2" dp as a 100, they could be correct. It's so screwed up.
