Greetings!
I recently purchased a Craftsman DP with a Packard motor which I’m not going to use. If anyone can use it and you’re willing to pay shipping, (hence, the “kinda’ free).
It’s missing the center band and it appears to be missing a cover over the wire connections. Runs quietly and all of the specs you can see on the mfg. plate.
Update:
It’s gone!
A friend stopped by my shop this morning and asked what my intentions were for the motor on my bench. I feigned thought for a moment and said, “why, could you use it?”. “Not me but a friend is looking for a classic motor that he needs for some project or other”.
“Well then, tell your friend his quest has ended”. With that he schlepped it to his truck and drove off to deliver said motor.
In one fell swoop, that motor made three people happy today. Now that’s a good start to the day.
Be well
Jeff
