I went in the Australian website. Took and passed the quiz. They never asked where to sent to the free sample to. I never knew about active metals before this, so I guess I still win.

I just took the quiz and scored an 88%, but same deal. They never asked me where to send a free bottle. I guess the promotion is over.

Nothing for me. Seems like a scam. FWIW, JB Weld threadlocker seems to work just fine - and you get a lot for the $. I'm sticking with that, until my free Orange appears, if ever.

I sent Permatex a email asking about my bottle of Orange TL they replied next day asked me to confirm my address and it arrived yesterday. Problem is the cap is cross threaded so most of it leaked out. Coincidence ?

I just got a spammy marketing email from Permatex. But never got any orange thread locker.

So indeed it looks like the whole thing was a scam to harvest email addresses. B*stards.

I made a point of NOT buying Permatex when I got some purple thread locker the other day.

And I guess I need to send them an email as discussed upthread to get them to honor their promise.

I found my package mixed in with a pile of mail order medication I had received. I don’t remember when it came but I must have placed it in a box where I keep my PX when they arrive.

Probably about the same time I was doing 12+ hours 2-3 days a week clearing out my parents house prior to getting it ready to list it for sale. Contractor advised he should be completed by next Monday.
