I'm looking for free plans to build a small garage or a large storage shed. Can anyone help?

When I built my garage I went to several garage builders and took measurements and photos of their models. It took away the guess work as to how to put one together. To me this was better than a set of blueprints.

Menards has a pretty cool computer thatlets you design your own and gives you a materials list.

Lowes and HD as well as chain bookstores all have garage plans books as well as How to build a garage type books. Typically they are not expensive, $15-$20. If you are handy and have any construction experience, you should be able to build from your own design.

If you are looking for detailed architectural type plans, I doubt you'd be able to find those for free. Not to long ago another forum member was passing along a set of plans, he had bought, for free.

+1 on Menard's, if you have one near. I work for an architectural firm, and when people come in looking for garage plans I send them to Menard's. I have played with the computer for my fence I plan on doing, it's really handy. Let's you run options so you can see what the price difference would be to upgrade options. Also gives you a materials list.
