My formerly trusty Sears floor jack has a case of the droops. It will lift, but it won't hold. It slowly drops under load. It's about 15-20 years old, made in China. No corrosion, a nice honest coating of grunge.
I already bought a new jack, and I already have way too many projects underway to spend time taking this apart and finding new seals. And I need the space.
I don't want to scrap it, but I also didn't want to put it on CraigsList, because I could just picture some ***** squishing himself with this. I know there are several people here on GJ who know how to fix these, get parts, etc. So if you want to fool around with fixing it, you could end up with a pretty nice elevation-izer, or at least learn something.
