While at work on Friday, the company next door in our complex was throwing this away...what a find!
So I got my wife to grab the winter beater and we loaded it up.
When I got home, I had some work to do.
This is what I got for free!!!!

This is a IAC industries electrical technicians work bench and looks to be a pretty expensive piece, about a $700 bench. It has ground lugs and a connection jack for grounding wrist bands. The upper shelve has 4 outlets on each side built into the side and has a built in circuit breakers.

It's height is even adjustable.....

So my biggest problem is that I am preparing for a garage sale in a couple weeks and the garage is pretty junked up.:twak:

So with a lot of rearranging, I cleaned out a junky cabinet and moved the drill press to a new location on the other side of the refrigerator....

....and got her into the garage.

So this weekend, I got some decisions to make as far as if I want to mount a vise to the bench or keep it pristine as is? :dunno:
Anyway, I am feeling pretty lucky right about now and thought I would share...back out to the garage to keep organizing.....I can wait for the garage sale to start so I can get my garage back!:drink:

Those come up ever so often on CL around here and seem to command a pretty penny, usually asking $200-400 and don't last long.

When I opened this up, I thought, wow a free truck, and then I looked in the bed. Nice score and we'll add another "You ****" to the pile.

Congrats! You definitely get a YOU ****! Nice find! As for the garage sale, will you take $500.00 for the Mustang? :lol_hitti

Amen! Normally I'm the same way, but I've been lazy lately. I'm sitting on some freebie cabinets that have been in my way. They're going in today no matter what...

The romantic hills of central Umbria, Italy,
Hoover. Electrolux. Miele. Even my litle Sanyo vac all say the same thing...

MAJOR suckage. ;-)

Awesome bench - with the power in both sides, you have one hell of a workbench. And staticproof as well? If you were into ham radio, you would have the even more ultimate score.

I'd put a vise on it (as long as the top isn't pressboard and would disintegrate when you cinch it down or use it), but also run a groundstrap from the vise to the ground bus on the bench. You *ever* nee to work on electronics, some of the exotic FI systems, etc. you now have the place to do it.

Lucky bastage!!!
