One of my buddies called me today to see if I wanted to meet up for lunch. After we ate he said he had brought something for me.

Went out to his truck and he gave me a SO 3/8 ratchet, a matching SO long handle, and a Cornwell 1/4 long handle.

The prior weekend I asked his opinion on some ratchets. He said he normally uses Snap On ratchets and had ended up with several over the years. Jokingly I told him I had a place he could unload some of his duplicates.

I was quite surprised and very excited. He has been a good bud for several years.

Wow, that was very generous of him. They look fairly unused (or well kept) too!

Did you foot the bill for the meal? :D

Luckily I did get the meal. Best $12 I spent all day.

Dude! Snap-on *****...I'll trade you for some brand new Pittsburgh Pro Harbor Freight ratchets and do you a favor.

He probably felt sorry for me since I asked about the Pittsburgh Pro line.

Sounds like you have a great friend! Don't bang his wife!

She is a good person too. I will take your advice.
