FREE TOOLS: My Craigs List Score !!!!

I live in Seattle area (Renton). Last Friday within 1/2 hour of posting, I read and responded to a "FREE TOOLS.....Help Yourself" ad.

I thought it might be one of those scams where someone plays a bad joke and gives out address of John Doe's garage to give for free all John's stuff.
After calling and going down to address, this wasnt the case. Older guy got divorced, claims hes moving to South America, just needed to vacate his place soon.

Most of the tools are import with ?? value. I did however find SNAP ON oex combo wrenches 13/16-1-1/4" to fill out top end of my existing set. Some MATCO combos, Short ARMSTRONG Combos, Rack of S.O. 3/8 drive metric sockets, 4pcs large S.O. SAE sockets. A few RIDGID pipe wrenches, few VICEGRIP/USA pliers, S.O. Air Rachets, etc etc

I also got several other apple boxes full of misc new fasteners, elec supplies, plumbing supplies, painting supplies, etc etc

The newer Roller Bearing Craftsman box and KRL(Orange) were already mine. FREE boxes are friction slide OLD Craftsman $$$????

These FREE situations dont happen often in ones life. It was exciting while I was "in the moment"

I'm asking advice from the experienced sellers how to market everything/anything. I wont go to local flea markets and display.
Must either be back on Craigs List or EBAY (I have no selling experience)

Some items might go as sets, but much of the stuff is odds and ends........

If you want to sell the S.O. 3/8 Metric sockets, please let me know. I just lost a bunch of tools and am slowly trying to replace them with what I can afford.

I am up in WA several times a month . Just last weekend when I was visiting my father, we scored a 10" Craftsman Cabinet saw for $50!!! 1954 Model with all manuals and EVERY blade that had ever been on the saw. Guy was selling it because it took up to much garage space. He inherited it from his fatherinlaw.

You have to wonder about the mental condition of the seller. Surely anyone would know that all that stuff is worth something. Even $20.... I understand giving stuff away to friend or something, but to total stranger? Something fishy...

MickeyO, I have not taken closer pic yet...........but "pliers" your asking about are something that I'm certain got from Kent,Wa BOEING Surplus store when they were in operation. They have smooth plastic/composite jaws to hold (whatever) without biting, gouging, leaving marks as normal metal/teeth pliars would do

Not sure exactly what/how/where BOEING production used these ???

What do you have in mind ????

They are definitely for aviation. When I worked at the GE engine test facilty the instrumentation guys used them to hook and unhook the electrical connectors on the engines. I'm sure they use them at Boeing for the same thing. The connectors reminded me of the same kind used for microphones, etc. The name escapes me at the moment.
