I cleared out my barn last summer into a tent so that I could get the floor poured. I had collected a bunch of **** in the barn over the years since I had it built and, since it was a dirt floored mess, I had never been able to sort and organize my "treasures". Over time I had accumulated a lot of stuff, including the contents of a buddy's shop that he had given me.

I bought the Harbor Freight roller cab and upper chest of fame and infamy a couple weeks ago and I have been going through all the **** that I had stuffed in the tent.

Going through the stuff, I discovered that I actually have a lot more tools than I knew or remembered. I now have two complete sets each of Craftsman combination wrenches up to 7/8s and 18mm as well as two 1" wrenches and a few odd other brands including "gasp" a Snap-On 5/8 combo wrench. It looks like it is a 1960 vintage and I have no idea where it came from, I know it wasn't in my buddy's stuff...

Also found were a reciprocating saw, a hack saw, a magnetic parts dish, automotive A/C recharge hoses, a halogen lamp and an air gun.

I have a lot more to go through, so I have a feeling that the list will grow.

So what do you mean by "free tools(sorta)" because I'm interested in free tools. :)

As in "Wow, I didn't know I had that. Now I don't have to go buy it." :bounce:

Not like "Hey, I'll borrow the neighbor's (fill-in-the-blank)..." or, "You mean if I give you all my information and agree to let you bill my credit card every month for a service I don't want unless I can somehow figure out how to tell you not to do it, you'll give me a genuine knock off of a real tool?"

Is that more clear? :lol_hitti

My grandpa had a lot of tools in his garage and well my cuz didn't need any and tool them to the scrap yard. When I found out that he did that to all these old tools I told my dad and he was pissed. He said I could have took a lot. There was a lot of old USA made tools he had from earlyer years. I took my boyfriend over and told him get what you want before they were gone and he also regrets not taking as much as what he did.

Found tools are some of the best tools, Not too long ago I found one of my old ratchets in the truck of a car, I was quite pleased. I'm thinking about hiding some tools so I can find them later.
