My neighbor died, he was my good bud. His daughter and family moved here and are great. They been cleaning and he gets a piece here and there from me.
Today they bring me a gift pack. I wonder what's the thingy on the left? I was going to see if he had valve compound the other day, turns out he did.

Which thingy on the left? The thingy in the red case is a manifold for evacuating and charging automotive AC stystems. The thingy in the grey case is a Mighty Vac kit. Often used for purging air out of brake lines.

it is valve seat tools for small engines. The engines in my Club Cars have big stuff, like card and can use my automotive tools on them. The guides on some of These others are so small.

Ok, back in my office and off phone. There is 2 sets, an older one. He told me about this stuff when he bought it and don't recall if I saw it or not. He had a son and I was a little worried this stuff went with some other tools and got lost. Its the kind of thing a guy would have troiuble buying for a job or 2, he probably used it once on his own cart.
Harold did the engine on his but did it in his own garage and I wasn't part of it but remember him getting this stuff. The other tool is old, I suspect it may be for cars and I wouldn't have minded it the other day when I had a tractor head apart and would have had a chance to see how it worked. I have a full sized machine and a Toledo seat set.

Very nice of them to think of you instead of throwing them in a rummage sale or something for probably a quarter of what they're worth.

Good neighbors. I have tools that I got at a yard sale that were going to go to the dump. Every time I use them I think of the man that had them before me, even tho I didn't know him. It's even more special when the tools came from someone you knew.
